Job overview

Reporting to the Director, Finance, The Paralegal Senior Associate will ensure efficient contract management and paralegal support.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Set up a contract management tool to facilitate the Contract life cycle management
  • Support the implementation of the Contract Management Policy
  • Manage the contract management database, by entering contracts into the database, managing the contract lifecycle, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Draft legal contracts and other legal documents.
  • Assist in implementing changes to contracts to comply with legislation/regulations
  • Update leadership with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation/regulations affecting the business.
  • Assist with corporate governance activities, including maintenance of filings, books and records for the Corporate Secretary
  • Assist with the preparation of governance documents, including agendas, corporate resolutions, and meeting minutes for AGM and ExCo meetings
  • Renew and maintain company licensing
  • Liaise with external legal advisor, when needed

Qualifications

  • Education level
    • Bachelor’s degree (in law or business law) preferred
    • Paralegal certification an advantage.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience as paralegal for a law firm and/or in-house experience working with contract management in the private or public sector
    • Swiss law experience, preferred, as well as international law experience
    • Experience with Company Secretarial duties desirable.
  • Skills and competencies
    • Fluency in English and French
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

All WBCSD employees now work from home with access to hubs in Geneva, London, New Delhi, Singapore and New York City.  This position needs to be based in Amsterdam, London or Geneva.
