Job Overview

The WBCSD Redefining Value team is looking for an Associate Program Management. In this role you work closely with the Redefining Value team and the wider WBCSD organization to ensure that the functional workload, core processes and decision-making is properly planned and timely executed

Responsibilities & duties

As an Associate Program Management, you are the responsible owner of the following key department processes: financial planning & budgeting, strategy process, reporting, governance & advisory, advocacy & key events, objective setting, internal communications planning and dependency management.

You are responsible to plan key steps, deliverables, accountable owners, timelines, updates and final documentation. Your scope includes:

  • Financial plan and budget for the Redefining Value team, including grant funders, updating budgets, flagging issues, reporting to stakeholders, aligning with objectives set by management
  • Strategy process planning and meetings, communicating updates to participants and stakeholders, setting key milestones, keeping others to account on deliverables
  • Setting up reporting to stakeholders on deliverables & progress, participate in delivery of a measurement framework
  • Establish a solid advisory board governance routine by facilitating agenda setting, communicating outcomes and actions, tracking delivery and follow up
  • Plan key moments in the calendar, drive clarity on objectives, align with contributors, drive delivery of milestones
  • Facilitate objective setting and people management moments in line with Redefining Value and WBCSD objectives, talent development and HR cycles
  • internal team management, scheduling and facilitating team meetings, gathering agenda items, organizing periodic in-person team meetings, tracking action items
  • Track key dependencies and report on progress for workstreams shared with other teams in WBCSD

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record and passion for planning and structuring, including anticipating and planning for risks or unclarities
  • Project management skills and experience with a range of different methodologies and techniques. Preferably having a background in Agile Project management, PMI certification and / or LEAN
  • Process orientation towards delivery versus a task-oriented mindset
  • Change management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, focused on collaboration
  • Ability to influence and steer leadership, senior management and groups
  • Ability to break up a complex problem into actionable and easy to understand steps to drive decision making
  • Proven ability to align different stakeholders

This is full-time fixed term position. It will based in Amsterdam.
