Job Overview

The HR Intern will work with the HR team in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Development, Employee lifecycle, and Data analytics, reporting to the Director, HR, while working closely with the other members of the HR team.

Responsibilities & duties

The main tasks will be:

  • Working with the recruitment manager to develop both intern and graduate development programs
  • Updating and driving both Onboarding and Offboarding processes
  • Being part of a working group to implement career progression framework
  • Reviewing and ensuring data quality in our HRIS, Hibob, analyzing the data, and developing KPIs and dashboards for management
  • Supporting the recruitment process, initially from an administrative perspective
  • Making PowerPoint presentations to be presented by the HR Team to the rest of the organization

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational Development, Talent Development, or related field
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in Human Resources
  • Learning and researching - Gathers comprehensive information to support decision making; Demonstrates rapid understanding of newly presented information; High level of attention to detail in data analysis; Evidence of self-insight
  • Project management - Capacity to work independently by setting priorities within own work streams, identify and proactively address problems and work to deadlines; Experience of working on an international basis (e.g. to deal with different languages, time zones and cultural expectations)
  • Presenting and communicating information - Expresses opinions, information and key points of an argument clearly; Projects credibility; Speaks clearly and fluently
  • Delivering results - Sets high standards for quality and quantity; Handles setbacks and consistently achieves project goals
  • Strong Microsoft Office365 skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English; fluency in Dutch is a plus.

The position is full-time and based in Amsterdam but will also require some international travel with flexibility.
