Redefining Value - Developing competencies for sustainability performance and valuation.

Redefining Value seeks to enable sustainability competency building in core corporate functions so that sustainable decisions can be made AND help build the valuation model of the future so that sustainable decisions are rewarded.

The CFO Network is a focused group of 50+ CFOs from across WBCSD’s membership. Together, they are working to build sustainability integration and competencies in their core decision functions such as Investor Relations, Treasury and Reporting, while working with Capital Market counter parts to shift the financial system to reward the most sustainable businesses and behaviors.

Job Overview

The WBCSD Redefining Value team is looking for a Community Manager to develop and manage our communities of key decision-makers in member companies.  The focus of the role is on the CFO Network community with the intent to further build communities consisting of other key corporate executives. In this role you will plan and facilitate all community moments, events and activities with the intent to grow the perceived value of the network for its members as well as growing the network itself.

You work closely with counterparts and subject matter experts and various engagement functions within the Redefining Value and WBCSD. You report to the Director Engagement.

Responsibilities & duties

  • Plan and facilitate moments, events and activities to inform, engage and empower community members
  • Provide support for members through various channels
  • Set up and execute acquisition funnels to grow the community
  • Actively signal engagement issues and drive retention of members
  • Obtain continuous, fact based, feedback and gather ideas for growing value delivery through understanding what members want and expect
  • Measure member interaction, engagement and contribution
  • Increase product and project awareness, and usage, for members
  • Build strong working level relationships with community members
  • Understand, provide and increase community value beyond WBCSD products and projects
  • Build engagement opportunities for the community or its members to drive branding and recognition of the work of the community
  • Enable process and tooling development to strengthen the foundation of communities
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the RV team including technical experts, product marketing and program management

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in functional leadership of high value communities in service delivery, product discovery, product engagement or other businesses, both B2B and B2C.
  • Proven skills and track record in growing communities and driving retention
  • Hands on, delivery and action-oriented approach
  • Strong project planning, execution and delivery experience
  • Knowledgeable and collaborative team player with high professional standards
  • Proven ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Excellent communicator with high fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge and expertise of Capital Markets, such as Investor Relations, Banking, Asset Management, or Key corporate decision-systems such as Risk Management, Governance, Strategy or Performance Management is considered a plus
  • A personality that shows an open mind, people, fact and impact centric attitudes, high energy and drive, with a resilient, learning approach towards setbacks, pressure and challenges

The position is full-time. It will be based in Amsterdam.
