Job Overview  

Safe Operating Space 1.5 (SOS 1.5) is WBCSD’s flagship program on Climate Action. 70+ member companies are working within seven workstreams to accelerate decarbonization. 

WBCSD is seeking an Associate to work in the Climate Action team on member coordination support and administration. The position will report to the Director, Climate Action 

This is a full-time, permanent position based at the WBCSD offices in Geneva, Switzerland, London, UK or Amsterdam, Netherlands.

 

Responsibilities and duties:  

  • Lead on Member Administration within SOS 1.5 
  • Manage incoming member requests, and liaise with the Climate Action team  
  • Online Event management (logistics, invites, tracking participants, follow-up) and potentially in-person events. 
  • Prepare documents and correspondence as required and support with briefings and presentations preparations 
  • Monitor member engagement and member follow up 
  • Manage the member external shared folders, e.g. presentations, reports 
  • Provide administrative and agenda management support to the Climate Action Team 

Requirements:  

  • An energetic team player with a minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in a similar role in a business environment 
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, eye for detail, and ability to run multi-tasks in parallel and to prioritize own work in a fast-moving environment  
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion  
  • Focus on member needs and satisfaction 
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining quality  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills  
  • Effective communication with multiple levels in and outside the organization, including C-Suite contacts 
  • Experience in working with confidential information  
  • Overall computer and digital literacy and good knowledge of SalesForce  
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a nice to have
