Description

The Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) is an independent platform to lead improvements in the socio-economic and environmental performance of the natural rubber value chain. Initiated by the Tire Industry Project (TIP), GPSNR now comprises members from the whole of the Natural Rubber supply chain including producers, processors, tire manufacturers and car makers, as well as representatives from civil society organisations. This multi-stakeholder collaboration has resulted in development of an ambitious, wide-reaching, common set of priorities for the natural rubber supply chain. The GPSNR will work to harmonise standards to improve respect for human rights, prevent land-grabbing, protect biodiversity and water resources, improve yields, and increase supply chain transparency and traceability.

The Associate CRM, Assistant to the Director, will be performing duties and tasks assigned by the Director to ensure efficiency of the Platform’s Secretariat, with a focus on Customer (Members) Relationship Management system development and management (Salesforce.com) for the organization.

BCSD Singapore seeks to appoint a full-time Associate, based in BCSD Singapore’s office in Singapore. WBCSD is facilitating the recruitment process through its application platform but the hiring organization will be BCSD Singapore.

Tasks

Duties include but will not be limited to the following:

  1. Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Platform Director, including but not limited to editing and transmitting text and data, drafting documents; collecting and analysing information and others as required by the Platform Director.
  2. In charge of all the data related to stakeholders of the platform.
  3. Responsible for the efficient use of Salesforce.com. It includes the setup, customization and development of the app and its implementations, drawing on relevant experience and understanding of best practices surrounding CRM, lead flow management, Custom Objects, Relational Data and Salesforce.com.
  4. Maintenance and optimisation of CRM system through continuous improvement and management, lead by a clear understanding of the objectives of the GPSNR.
  5. Normalize data provided by members/stakeholders for import into Salesforce.com
  6. Create custom reports and report types according to the needs of the GPSNR

Desired competencies & qualifications

Education

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree. A Masters Degree may be advantageous.

Work Experience

  • Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in a related area.
  • Experience working within Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives will be an advantage.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

  • 3+ years working in a business analysis, project management or similar role
  • 2+ years experience implementing or administrating a Salesforce.com using sales, marketing and CRM objects
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel 2010+ with strong knowledge of filters, text functions, lookup functions, data formatting and Array Formulas
  • Understanding of CRM and customer care systems management
  • Experience with other (non saleseforce.com) CRM tools is a plus i.e. MS Office suite
