We are looking for a talented Finance Director to lead the WBCSD Finance team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at the WBCSD offices in Geneva, Switzerland, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

We expect to recruit an exceptional senior Finance Director who will assume the Finance director position with functional accountability for the full WBCSD organization.

Main tasks include:

  • Financial accounting under Swiss Code of Obligations, and annual statutory audit
  • Subsidiary financial management and consolidation for US, India, UK branches
  • Project and grant accounting
  • Budgeting and forecasting cycles

Business Control and Data analysis

  • Optimize treasury, and taxation aspects
  • Management information process in dashboard/KPI format
  • WBCSD representative on Swiss register of commerce
  • Swiss payroll and social deduction knowledge
  • Legal affairs, supported by local and international legal firms

Required competencies include:

  • University Degree in Finance / Business Administration
  • Globally recognized professional financial qualification, or Swiss qualified accountant
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience with strong business background
  • Experience and success in a dynamic, multinational corporation preferred
  • Swiss CO accounting norms, and audit
  • Swiss payroll management
  • Strong people management skills, and modern staff management principles
  • Confident, independent driver of strategic change, and process improvement
  • Excellent English and French, both written and spoken
  • Advanced modern technology user
  • Team player and high level of integrity
